Sustainability

Environmental and climate protection has been mainstreamed in all areas of life, at the latest since the worldwide Fridays for Future movement galvanised above all the younger generation. Germany’s child and youth services community, too, has been impacted by this. The climate debate and the issue of sustainable mobility in connection with international exchanges and programmes is also a concern for IJAB. Yet the topic of sustainability extends beyond mobility. For instance, it also touches upon environmental education and Education for Sustainable Development, both of which are topics that IJAB’s projects have been focusing on for a number of years.
