What distinguishes a safe space from a safer space?

We use the ZOOM platform for the DIY² digital lab (DIY² = Do-It-Yourself x Digital International Youth Work). Information on data processing can be found in our privacy policy under point 8. We will send out the event link and further information shortly before the start of the event.

Photos oder screenshots taken during the event and in which I am pictured may be used and reused by IJAB in publications as part of IJAB's public relations work (e.g. reports, documentations, websites, etc.). The photos may also be passed on to third parties for reporting on the event.

My name, the name of my organisation, my country of origin and my e-mail address may appear on the list of participants that is distributed to all participants.

Data privacy statement

IJAB, the International Youth Service of the Federal Republic of Germany, Godesberger Allee 142-148, 53175 Bonn, Germany, collects your personal data for the purpose of organising and managing events as well as for internal purposes. The data are shared with individuals involved in the event or programme and are electronically stored and processed in connection with the work of IJAB and for statistical reasons. Data collection and processing is necessary for the implementation of the event/programme and is performed pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 b) of the GDPR. The data are not shared with third parties. Home addresses and other personal details are disclosed voluntarily and are used exclusively for internal purposes.

You are entitled to object at any time to us using your data for the purpose of providing you with information over and above this event/programme. In addition, you are entitled to request us to inform you of what data we have stored concerning yourself, to rectify any incorrect data, and to erase any data we may have unlawfully stored. You may contact our data privacy officer, Frank Rattmann, by emailing datenschutz(at)ijab.de. In addition, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Public relations

I agree that IJAB stores the personal data in the IJAB database and uses the data to inform me about calls for proposals, events, publications etc. of IJAB and its projects as part of its public relations work.
