Documentation of the DIY² Lab is available

The DIY2 Lab on 10 June 2021 was all about experimenting with Gather.town. Gather.town provides a virtual space in which different forms of interaction are possible. With their own avatar, users can approach other people and communicate with them via camera and microphone, just like in a regular video conference.

All kinds of games and features can be included in a Gather.town space; for example, participants can solve puzzles, play keyboard, collect word associations on whiteboards or listen to music – either on their own or with others. With the help of Ionut-Cosmin Popescu and Anna Müller from ServiceBureau Jugendinformation Bremen, we examined and discussed the possible uses and limitations of this tool.
