Online Course: Inclusion
Our Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) allow interested individuals to learn flexibly and at their own pace. Participation is free of charge and open to everyone. In addition to foundational videos, the course includes assignments designed to deepen and apply the content, as well as a forum for exchanging ideas with other participants.
We also provide helpful materials, links, and further information. Each unit concludes with a short quiz to summarize your learning progress. For each completed quiz, participants receive a digital badge. Once all six badges have been earned, a certificate of participation will be issued.
The new MOOC, Internationale Jugendarbeit inklusiv gestalten (Making International Youth Work Inclusive), empowers international youth work professionals and organizations to expand their competencies in the field of inclusion. While the course places a specific focus on the participation of young people with impairments and disabilities, it also explores broader aspects of diversity and inclusion.
The curriculum ranges from foundational concepts and definitions to structural and pedagogical considerations. Topics such as language, communication, and various support options are also covered. The course offers an excellent opportunity to become familiar with key approaches in inclusive international youth work and to integrate these effectively into your own professional practice. Please note: This course is currently only available in German.
