The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD) created the legal basis for an inclusive education system and the equal participation of all people in society. International youth work has an important role to play in making inclusion a reality. In fact, it benefits from inclusion itself in many ways:

Nevertheless, there are still many obstacles for impaired young people. They are less often reached by the offers of international youth work or cannot use them due to existing access barriers. The aim of the project VISION:INCLUSiON was to move forward on the path towards fully inclusive international youth projects. Together with international youth workers, experts and stakeholders, a strategy was developed that provides a practical guide for organizations on their way to an inclusive international youth work. This strategy was further developed in an international framework and different tools for the implementation in practice of international youth work were elaborated. With the final event, these results will be presented to a large, national and international public.
