Online-Workshop: Escape Game - Festival in Danger

In English, 18 Nov 2026, 4-6 PM CET, via Zoom

A music festival is on the verge of being cancelled – and the star has suddenly collapsed! What happened? And can the festival still be saved?
Join our interactive online workshop and discover Festival in Danger, an escape game designed for international youth work. You’ll get to try out the method yourself and explore how it can foster communication, cooperation and intercultural learning in international groups of young people.

What will you experience in the workshop?

What makes the escape game special?

The game puts young people in a cooperative challenge: clues are provided in different languages, and the solutions can only be found by working together. This creates authentic opportunities for communication and interaction. Along the way, young people experience the importance of supporting each other, dealing with uncertainty, asking questions and finding creative ways to communicate across language barriers.

The escape game is easy to prepare, flexible to use and can turn any group room into an exciting shared experience. You’ll receive printable materials as well as clear, step-by-step instructions for setting up and running the game.

Designed for international youth encounters

“Festival in Danger” was specifically developed for binational youth exchanges and is already available in several language combinations:

Trilingual versions are currently in development.

Turn your group room into an escape room and create an engaging learning experience where young people communicate, collaborate and solve problems together.

Sign up now – and help save the festival!
