Europe, the International Level, and Multilateral Contexts

Youth Policy International

What moves the international community, what shapes Europe, and what becomes visible through cross-country comparisons: IJAB bundles youth policy information, creates visibility, and facilitates knowledge transfer.

We identify trends and key topics, preparing them for professionals, political decision-makers, and partners. In doing so, we collaborate with the scientific and research communities as well as national and international networks.

Knowledge of European and international youth policy developments is the foundation for successful international cooperation and the further advancement of international youth work.

Broadening one's horizons opens up new perspectives. Whether in Europe, at the international level, or in a multilateral context—we monitor developments in youth policy through continuous observation, expert interviews, and specialist articles.

As a partner of the European Commission and the Council of Europe, IJAB officially contributes to providing up-to-date and comparable information on youth policy in Europe through YouthWiki and the European Knowledge Centre for Youth Policy (EKCYP). In cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ), the Observatory for Multilateral Youth Policy Developments tracks the processes of the United Nations and other multilateral organizations.
