Eurodesk Mobility Counselling
Eurodesk is a European information network with coordination centers in more than 35 countries and over 3,000 regional service points. In Germany, Eurodesk collaborates with around 50 local partners. The mission of the network is to provide young people and multipliers with comprehensive information on the topic of learning mobility.
Eurodesk informs and advises young people on the various opportunities for going abroad—including voluntary services, international youth exchanges, workcamps, au-pair placements, school exchanges, working abroad, and internships. Furthermore, Eurodesk offers valuable tips on choosing organizations and programs, as well as advice on funding and financing stays abroad. Eurodesk is also a regular presence at information events and fairs dedicated to the young target audience.
Eurodesk Germany provides professionals working with young people with comprehensive information on national and European funding programs in the fields of mobility, Europe, youth, education, culture, and sport. In addition to information services, Eurodesk regularly offers Mobility Guide Training (Mobilitätslots*innen-Weiterbildung) and Funding Workshops (workshops focused on grant applications and financial support).
Eurodesk is funded by the Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) and the European Commission. As a result, Eurodesk’s advisory services are personal, free of charge, and neutral.
