For young people, having comprehensive opportunities for equal participation is of particular importance at this stage of their lives. Promoting this participation - regardless of socio-economic status, impairment, or disability - is one of the central tasks of youth work. What experiences regarding this exist in Japan, and what insights can these offer for work in Germany? Professionals in child and youth services will have the opportunity to explore this during a study program from May 24 to June 7, 2026.
The program includes site visits and specialist lectures. The topics cover services and support for the target groups mentioned above. The program is complemented by discussion rounds and a seminar for professionals involving Japanese participants from the 2025 program. In addition, a weekend homestay with a host family is planned.
The registration deadline is March 2, 2026.
