The Eurodesk Annual Meeting 2026 will take place from 16 to 18 March 2026 at IJAB e.V. in Bonn. This internal professional event is not open to the public and is addressed exclusively to the approximately 55 Eurodesk partner organisations in Germany. The meeting will be held in the context of the 30th anniversary of Eurodesk Germany.
Over the course of three days, the annual meeting brings together Eurodesk partners from across the country who work in a wide range of youth, education and information settings and provide local counselling on international mobility opportunities for young people. The aim of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation within this diverse network, reflect on current developments and jointly shape future priorities of Eurodesk work in Germany.
The programme combines updates from Eurodesk Germany with information on current developments in European mobility schemes such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. Good-practice examples from local counselling work, thematic workshops – for example on reaching young people in rural areas, building local networks or using AI tools in international youth work – and structured reflection phases offer space for professional exchange and mutual learning. In addition, a panel discussion on the future of Erasmus+ beyond 2028 provides a broader strategic perspective.
Alongside the content-related programme, the annual meeting places strong emphasis on networking and personal exchange. Informal meetings and joint evening activities, including a jubilee celebration marking 30 years of Eurodesk Germany, acknowledge the long-standing cooperation of the network’s around 55 partner organisations and highlight the importance of Eurodesk for youth information and mobility counselling in Germany.
